ABOUT SENATOR PAUL BAILEY
ABOUT SENATOR PAUL BAILEY
A lifelong conservative, the political bug to run for office first bit Paul in 2002 with an unsuccessful bid for the 15th District Senate seat. Despite this setback, the desire to serve remained within Paul, leading him to run and win a seat on the White County Commission, where he became Chairman.
In 2014, Paul was chosen to fulfill the unexpired term of Rep. Charles Curtis upon his retirement. Paul served in the 42nd House seat while successfully running for the then open 15th District Senate seat representing Smith, Jackson, Putnam, White, Van Buren, and Cumberland Counties.

While still a first term Senator, Paul’s common sense conservative representation gained him the confidence and support to be named Chairman of the Senate Transportation Committee in 2017. Just a year later, Paul was appointed Chairman of the Senate Commerce and Labor Committee where he serves today.
